Engaged! Kiley and Justin

Meet the super cool couple Kiley and Justin! If you look up the word smitten in the dictionary you will see in parentheses (see Kiley and Justin), seriously, no I mean it , seriously! It's all about the love! Anyway, we had a great time that brought us from the Norwich Rose Gardens to Rocky Neck State Park. Their wedding isn't until next August but I'm already anxious to photograph their big day. I know we will have a great time! Congratulations again guys, see you soon.

Dave and Laura (The Official Bride Chilla)

Below is Carrie, one of Laura's bridesmaids. She told me that Laura was going to be a Bride Chilla ( a term I can't beleive I never heard??), not a Bride Zilla. She was right, so I wanted to make sure she got her props!

These flowers were beautiful! Laura's bridesmaids put them all to gether! Very nice ladies:)
Introducing Dave and Laura, A sweet couple from NYC and Trumbull, CT. These two were very laid back and easy to work with. This was the kind of wedding we as photographers dream about because we had over 2 1/2 hours to do portraits in two different locations, I LOVE IT! Not to mention the awesome thunder storm that made it's way through the Waterview as we were shooting. You can see in the seventh image down the clouds turning black as it started to roll in.

I wanted to give Missy a special thanks for helping me out on this one. This was our 2nd wedding in as many days which was tough enough let alone Missy being 6 1/2 months pregnant! Missy, you are a life saver:)

Thanks Dave and Laura for letting us be a part of your AWESOME day!!

Married!! Katie & Eliad

Well I've been playing catch-up with blogging lately so please bare with me! I've got loads of stuff to post so keep on the look out. 1st up Katie and Eliad. Two of the most sincere, generous people on the planet. With these two I just know our friendship will last beyond the wedding (and yes Eliad, I will be taking you up on that tour of Greenwich you and Katie offered!).

This was my first Jewish wedding so I was very excited. I love watching how other religions and cultures celebrate the joining of two lives, they can be so different but they all have that one common bond, LOVE! This wedding was soooo much fun, and we got so many great shots. I can'tpossibly post all the images I want because it would take me all night so I hope this will do!

Thanks again guys for having me share your beautiful day with you!

Marissa & Don Beta e-session

At last! The Roses! Marissa and Don had the best time of the year for their e-shoot at Elizabeth Park. Thousands of people from all over try to get a glimpse of the beauty in the gardens all at the same time. So if your there between the last two weeks of June, you know how crazy it is. The biggest challenge to me is getting a great picture without 50 people in the background. After all, it is a public place.

These two had a such a sweet love for each other that you could see when they looked at one another. Don, or "The Don" was cool and chilled out, a fellow guitar player like myself and Marissa, she has that innocent look, but as she told me when I asked who would win in a fight she said "I'd kick Don's @$$!" Don't let the cuteness fool ya! Can't wait for the wedding guys, see you soon!

Mike & Edesa's Hartford Love!

Meet Mike and Edesa! I knew Mike from playing baseball when we were kids in the "Hard Hittin" New Britain city summer leagues. Actually I think we are still kids, at least I know I am! (I have no problem admitting my refusal to grow up. Now ask my wife Erin, she may say different:) As you can see, they are HOT!!!! Fun and very easy to work with to say the least. These two were complete naturals! Love was definitely in the Hartford air. It's so refreshing seeing a couple in tuned with each others souls as much as these two were. I had to tell them to stop kissing a few times because I thought the sun was going to set before they stopped, get a room or something would ya! Anyway, their wedding is going to be one crazy beautiful event! Some of my good friends, old and new are going to be there so it should be a wild one! Thanks again guys!

Carrie & TJ's Heart and Soul @ The Crystal Room Naugatuck

Another GREAT shot below from Missy!

Of course I had to put up an image with back-lighting, I'm addicted, what can I say!
Introducing Carrie and TJ, one of the nicest and down to earth couples I've ever met! We did their e-shoot last fall in Durham's famous Lyman Orchard and from the moment we started we hit it off. Their wedding was no different. TJ is a great, generous guy, the kind of guy who would do anything for you - and Carrie, well she could melt you with her smile:) enough said! Maybe we got along so well because TJ looks like my twin?? At least that's what everyone else thinks. I can't tell you how many times I get asked if he is my brother - I guess all us bald guys look the same:) One of the highlights of the wedding (for me anyway) was that we were served twin Maine lobster tails for dinner!! Are you kidding me!! They went right to the top of my book instantly!

I always try to build the foundation of my business on relationship with my couples. I feel the better we get to know each other the better experience we will have at your wedding. Carrie and TJ are the kind of couple that our friendship will last beyond the wedding. After all, they just invited my family over for a cook-out! I'll have to say though, as far as the food goes, TJ raised the bar pretty high with the lobsters. I don't know what he could possibly top that with?

Thanks for a great time guys, see you soon!
