Operation Engagement - Pete and Diane
This was the only tulip in bloom in the entire garden, so of course, we had to take advantage!
I had a great time Saturday shooting Pete and Diane for their engagement session. This was the perfect prelude to their wedding at the Branford Mansion. Pete was great, such a ham and pretty much willing to do anything you ask. And as for the beautiful Diane, as the day went on her sarcastic character came out and made for an awesome shoot. I can already tell we are going to have fun shooting their wedding.
I can't emphasize enough to present and future Brides and Grooms how important these engagement sessions are. Imagine paying thousands of dollars on a photographer to only stress out, wonder or hope that he or she will be personable or able on your wedding day. Not to mention for us, it's priceless. Our job is to catch those natural moments as they happen and they are much easier to catch when you've already built a working relationship with the Bride and Groom. Don't you think??
I think of my self on the job as 1/3 comedian, 1/3 Photographer and last but not least 1/3 psychologist. It always makes the couple more at ease and relaxed, which allows us to capture your first family heirloom naturally.
Attention all Brides and Grooms of mine, if you haven't scheduled your e-shoot, please do so soon! I don't have many dates left available until the fall.
