HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN!!!

I want to say Happy Birthday to the most important person in my life, my lovely wife Erin. I can't begin to tell you how important she is and how much she means to me! Without her, I know I wouldn't be where I am today! She is the driving force behind our business and the support system that keeps us going. Keegan is one lucky kid, I have never seen someone give so much love to a child as she does!

I love her with everything I have and I am a living example that behind every great man (so she says) is an even greater women! I owe her the world because she deserves 110% of it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Erin, I look forward to getting old and grey with you!

Your Soul mate,

Love Eric

Jeep Update!

Well as it seems, the Jeep has been found! The people who stole my car drove it until it ran out of gas, all the way to Rocky Hill (10 miles away). I guess sometimes it pays not to have a full tank? I just bought a new car yesterday so I will post a snazzy pic of it as soon as I can. I will let you take a guess at what kind of car it is, here's your clue:

Clue: It resembles a piece of kitchen equipment that 99.9% of America owns. It provides a good side to any egg dish or spot of tea!

Stolen for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

Well this is the scene of the crime! This is where my 2000 Red Jeep Cherokee was sleeping last night, notice it's not there now! Some time between 12am and 6am this morning someone decided that they needed it more then us and decided to steal it! On Christmas Eve, my sons 2nd birthday no less!

Well I guess things could be worse, thankfully, I have a knack for finding humor in just about any situation. I think the muffler was going to fall off soon so I guess they saved me some money! Maybe it's a blessing in disguise, maybe my wife and son might of got into an accident if they took the Jeep out today! Oh well, now it's up to the police and insurance companies. We were actually going to buy a new car next month before the new baby gets here too!

So now we have to go through the pain staking process of changing alot of personal info. You can never be too careful in these situations!

Stay tuned for updates, I'll let you know if they find it. In the mean time look out for a red Jeep Cherokee:

Details:

-Has a red bumper
-Has a Boston Red Sox sticker on the rear window
-Has a "Eat Organic" bumper sticker
-Has a "MV" Martha's Vineyard sticker
-License plate # 656-szk

Thanks for the help!

Mike Colon and Bob davis Seminar!

One of the most important responsibilities of a wedding photographer is to consistently provide and apply the most current styles, wedding fashion and progressive knowledge to our brides and grooms. In other words, we can't get stale because the culture of the bride is ever changing and if we don't change with it, we get eliminated!

This year, one of my new years resolutions is to attend as many seminars and workshops as possible. I am starting with the CPPA convention in February and then following up with the Mike Colon and Bob Davis workshop. The title says it all, "Master your craft". I want to make sure when a bride hires me for their wedding, they are getting everything they paid for and more! I've seen too many photographers just settle for what they do and offer, they almost become dated, not me. I want that sophisticated bride who loves and appreciates wedding photography, after all, these are the memories they will share for a life time!

2008 is looking like a great year, our business has almost doubled from 2007 and it's only December! We have some great brides and grooms to work with so I know it's gonna be a blast of a time!

Talk soon!

Tis The Season To..........

Make Cookies!!!! I had the pleasure of watching my wife and son Keegan make sugar cookies for the first time yesterday. We had a blast, by the the time we were done, Keegan was covered in flour and the sugar sprinkles were dumped all over the floor. Good times man, good times! Needless to say, they came out great and we all enjoyed them with a little hot cocoa!

Keegan eating the chocolate sun drops before we can put them on the cookies!
Keegan taking off the chocolate sun drops that he just put on, and eating them!
Keegan stealing more chocolate sun drops, get the picture?
I telling you dad, they jumped in my mouth, it wasn't me!!!!
Visions of chocolate sun drops danced in his head! A hard days work deserves an honest good rest! How precious is he!

The Return of Mr. Yuck????

Okay, so maybe I'm showing my age just a little (32). I can remember being so afraid of this dude. In the 70's, Mr. Yuck was created to scare children away from touching poisonous or hazardous materials i.e bleach and other cleaners. If you saw the Yuck sticker on a bottle you knew not to touch it! Needless to say, it was very effective! I almost fell of my chair when I came across this image, it brought back some old memories.

If anyone out there remembers Mr. Yuck, feel free to share your experience. I just might get some stickers for my son Keegan, he is two and into everything.

Shafted Again!!!!

Saturday was a dismal day for me! For the 2nd straight year, on opening sales day, I attempted to buy Red Sox tickets and failed! They were selling packages called Sox Pax which consisted of 4 games throughout the year. The one I had my eyes set on was called the Brew Pack. It had game 2 of the opening series against Detroit, a game against the Angels, Brewers and most importantly, the opening game of the final series of the year against the Evil Empire (no need to explain). I sat for three hours in the "virtual waiting room" and was not called upon as I watched each of the 9 pax sell out before my eyes. Oh well, I guess I will have to call the local scalper! My quest for tickets goes on, anyone got any extras????

If there are any season ticket holders out there getting married, perhaps a deal could be made?

Till next time! To Johan or not to Johan, that is the question!

These are a few of our favorite things!

My new best friend! --This year Christmas came a little early for me, a brand new GPS Tom Tom. Those who know me well, know that this little device is WELL needed! The one thing you can't afford to do as a Wedding Photographer is get lost. I have quite a few out of state weddings in 2008 so this will definitely come in handy! I've already programmed it to find the closest Starbucks from my exact location at one touch of the screen, how cool is that! I will now THANKFULLY say GOOD BYE to all those misguided directions from MapQuest and Rand Mcnally, although Rand Mcnally isn't that bad!

My son Keegan's new best friends,
Thomas,

Percy,
and Toby.
Little does he know, Santa has gone crazy with the Thomas The Train collection this Christmas!
Between us and Grandma, he's gotten a new track set, train table and a bunch of new engines. Mighty Mac, Annie and Claribel, James and Henry to name a few . I can't believe I actually know these things by name! I know this little guy is going to be soooo excited. I can't wait to see his face!
